Close to Home has been created in response to increased demand for a separate home working environment. A detached purpose-built garden room provides a space free from distraction, which in turn will promote focus and productivity. It is also important to provide a degree of separation between work and home life which is of particular importance in this day and age where working from home is growing in popularity.
We don’t just make aesthetically pleasing bespoke garden rooms. We make them functional too.
Close to Home provide bespoke/ tailor made garden rooms that can be used for a wide range of purposes, including but not limited to, home offices, entertaining spaces and self-contained living accommodation. Our rooms are both functional and aesthetically pleasing and can be designed to suit any budget and any brief.
Meet the Team
The company founders Jake and James possess differing but complimentary skill sets that combine to create a business that is driven to deliver carefully crafted buildings, to modern standards and to the highest levels of workmanship.
Jake is a Chartered Architect with over 10 years of industry experience. Jake is the owner of an architectural practice with a proven track record in delivery bespoke residential new-build projects, from design to completion.
James runs a building firm with a team combining over 80 years of experience in various trades within the construction industry.
